Pinball wizards: Getting hooked at the Pacific Pinball Museum – San Francisco Chroniclehttp://www.sfchronicle.com/thetake/article/Pinball-wizards-Getting-hooked-at-the-Pacific-6692707.phpThree times a week, Gary Bargman steps through the front doors of the Pacific Pinball Museum to meet Dracula, Iron Man and the Creature from the Black Lagoon. Bargman, an Alameda native, says the museum brings back memories from his childhood. Nestled along a stretch of shops and restaurants on Webster Street in Alameda, the museum offers 100 pinball machines for free play after the price of admission. Since its opening in 2002, the museum has turned into a non-profit and is currently raising funds to help relocate the museum into the vacant Carnegie Library across town. Because of a back injury, she can’t play too long so she tries to be strategic and play her favorites: a horse racing game and another with a monster and a bikini-clad woman. The Regulars is a weekly photo and video column by Erin Brethauer and Tim Hussin focusing on the people who frequent the places of the city.
