Yestercades in Somerville, NJ reopens with 11 pinball machines and more!

SOMERVILLE – Yestercades is back.

After being closed for more than four months because of a ceiling problem, Yestercades, an arcade playground for people of all ages on Division Street, reopened at 6 p.m. Friday.

“We’re super-excited,” said Christian Murray, the assistant manager.

Yestercades is an interactive shrine to the golden age of arcade gaming, whether it’s Space Invaders, Pac-Man, Street Fighter or NBA Jam. There are 11 pinball machines to satisfy the cravings of every pinball wizard.

If you don’t like those classic games, there are Skee-Ball lanes and a pool table. But there’s also the most up-to-date versions of Xbox and Playstation.
