The Alameda Naval Air Museum focuses on the role military and commercial aviation played at Alameda Point and its former naval air station, from the launch of the first trans-Pacific flight in 1935, through World War II and the Battle of Midway, to the base’s closure in 1997. High Scores Interactive Arcade Museum pays tribute to classic games of the 1980s — “Pac-Man,” “Donkey Kong,” “Tron” and many lesser-known titles — and a few from the ‘90s. Play them to tunes from the appropriately retro jukebox. The 1897 Colonial Revival Meyers House and Garden, designed by the architect who created the portal of the Posey Tube among numerous East Bay buildings, stayed in the family until 1993. The Pacific Pinball Museum, which offers unlimited play of about 100 vintage machines from the 1930s to the modern era, also displays artwork. “Pinball Squared,” through July 21, features newly commissioned back-glass art by 20 Bay Area artists. Open 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, 2 p.m. to 12 a.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. Saturday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. $15 adults, $7.50 ages under 16.
