Medieval Madness definitely makes my top 10 of all time favorite pinball machines to play. I love beating up on the castle, it’s simple and easy, yet fun and the animations when you destroy it are a nice tough. You’ve got to defeat so many castles before you go up to the final challenge, and it gets progressively harder with increasing points along the way.
Another factor I really like about this game are all the different multi balls which you can get all stacked up and have all going at once for even bigger jackpots and longer ball savers.
Getting the other multi balls ready requires completing all of the various shots and ramps. The play field is laid out open and it’s relatively easy to make whatever shot you need to make. It gets moving fast and you can get a great flow going with it.
I can’t think of anything I don’t like about this game other than the fact that a remake is in the works. Personally, I’d prefer to have an all original one. It’s definitely one well worth playing and owning if you have the opportunity. It’s been awhile since I’ve played it regularly, but when that happens again I’ll try to update my review with a bit more detail.
